« Museums have a vital ethical role to play. Given today’s geopolitics, institutions must do more than conserve and interpret » Martin Roth

“Museums Beyond Walls” will be the theme of the 19th edition of the international conference Communicating the Museum. From 6 – 9 November 2017, participants will debate the changing role of museums in our society.

Communicating the Museum (CTM) is the world’s leading arts communications conference. CTM17 Los Angeles will take place at the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the Hammer Museum and in several cultural institutions all over the city. 300 international culture professionals from 30+ countries will gather to network, engage in stimulating conversations and rethink their institution’s model and communications.
