Head of Learning, Royal Alberta Museum

Drawing on extensive knowledge of, and experience with, museum interpretation and education, the incumbent plans and coordinates the development of Royal Museum Museum’s learning programs-both curriculum and visitor oriented. This will include both in-person and distance learning.

Applying extensive knowledge, creativity, and skill in interpretation, presentation, and evaluation techniques, the incumbent will develop visitor oriented programs that will engage visitors from diverse communities in areas related to the themes of the Royal Alberta Museum.

Working closely with museum colleagues, external stakeholders, and industry partners, the incumbent will ensure all programs are meeting best practice standards and fulfilling the Royal Museum Museum’s responsibilities to provide meaningful experiences for its visitors.

$2,683.10 to $3,507.06 bi-weekly.  ($69,760. – $91,183.53 / year)
