The Philadelphia Museum of Art in partnership with ARLIS/NA is implementing a National Digital Stewardship Residency (NDSR) program for art information professionals through generous funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) via a 2016 Laura Bush 21st-Century Librarian Program grant.

National Digital Stewardship Residency Art (NDSR Art) addresses how arts and cultural institutions tackle larger issues of digital preservation and stewardship. Over the course of two years, eight residents will be matched with host institutions across the country for twelve-month paid residencies.

The application period for host institutions is open through May 31, 2016. Four organizations will be selected to receive residents for the 2016/2017 program. An option to subscribe to the NDSR Art newsletter is located on the NDSR website. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to ndsr@philamuseum.org with any questions.
